Christmas Eve

Tonight it will be Christmas Eve and I am still wondering where did October and November go!!

It has been a busy year for me as far as work goes, with two trips to America and a recent trip to Korea.

What a fabulous country, with amazing people.

Winter was just starting to settle in while we were there, so it did get a little cold minus 5 degrees.

Business was very successful and the shopping wasn't too bad either.

Sometimes the food was a bit of a challenge,
so we just had to put our big girl knickers on and do as the locals do, as they say "when in Rome"

Truly amazing to see traditional buildings amongst the high rise of the city.

Away in the distance of this city picture you can see a glimpse of a mountain, this was covered in snow when we left.

Most of the trees had small grass type mats around them.
When we asked what they were for the locals told us it was protection for the winter.
This was hilarious as they are only about 30cm deep, so we named them tree scarfs and hoped they would do the job!

The christmas light were so beautiful and the city was aglow in the evening.
I will sign off with this pretty picture and hope that you all have a Merry Christmas and get to spend some time with someone you love.

See you in 2011

Take care

Hey Michelle, I'm with you - the last couple of months, whew! and I have nothing to show that they were even here either.
Loved your visit here wish it had been longer though. I've found the little shop you told me about and spent way to much but I am going back : ))
Have a restful Christmas, see you in the New Year.
hugs
