Excess Weight

Yes you guessed it!!

I had far too much luggage to bring home from Quilt Market and it did cause a few headaches.

After frantically trying to see if I could Fedex my goodies home .....$338 USD I DON"T THINK SO!!
Then trying to US Postal Service them home ....$143 USD I DONT THINK SO!!

I finally turned up at Houston Airport with my carefully wrapped little box and got it on Air New Zealand for FREE!!!
What the heck was I thinking.

I also had this awesome Trolley Bag, which the Americans had no idea of what I was talking about, Trolley Bag????, oh you mean a wheely bag.
It glides along so nicely, like my very own little pink robot.

I bought a few goodies and of course it included fabric and books.
Always the heaviest things to bring home.
There is a wool bundle and some very lovely wool thread, which will be very handy for Sue Spargo's class in
2012!!

So of course I had to buy her book and very pleased I did.
Sue was staying at the same Hotel and is looking forward to coming to New Zealand.

I won this book in a business card draw at school house.
Some very cute and simple quilts in here, I think I will be whipping up a few.

I just had to have this one, simply for the pictures, the japanese are so clever.

Well the weekend has gone and I have loads of work to catch up on, as I am away until Thursday, but just had to show you the amazing Rhodo out of my garden.

My garden has burst into colour while I have been away, so exciting to see all the flowers out, I suppose I should really get onto some christmas shopping before I go over seas again Wow CHRISTMAS!!!!

Take Care

Gosh your title certainly got my attention, especially as I know just how tiny you are, so I knew the excess weight had to have something to do with goodies. Good on you, you can never have too much of a stash, books or threads.
Have a safe trip
