I have been doing a bit of cross stitch lately and am making good progress on the little stockings
by Blackbird designs.
But last night I picked up some knitting needles to have a wee play.
I have been daydreaming about this throw rug for a while now.
Actually ever since I saw one knitted up in apple green, red and charcoal grey, sounds awful I know, but it was devine.
Sooooo I started block A last night and finished I might add.
You have to use the graph, which I need to enlarge, cos I went cross eyed trying to count the tiny squares.
The pattern is out of this great book.
I have also knitted the hooded top for my Great Nephew.
There are some lovely designs in this book, but beware most of the designs are knitted with Rowan yarn,
so just be careful with the ply and quantity.
Best go and do some work, things have been a bit quiet since the earthquake in Christchurch, do hope you are all getting along nicely and hope to see some of you out and about at the Craft Fair this weekend at the CBS Stadium.

Your stockings are gorgeous Michelle, is there no end to your talents? Knitting and cross stitch too? Congrats on the new start, the rug is going to be lovely, very cute!
