Provence Anyone?

Ah Provence, sounds great doesn't it?
Especially as we have finally started our winter.
Only 6 degrees outside, but the wind chill makes it seem colder.

I have finished this quilt, finally!
Found it in the bottom of my basket when I was having a tidy up.

I made mine in pretty blues and taupes.
This pattern has been around for a long time and I have seen very many versions of it.

A nice way to display some of my old buttons as well.

The winter stock has it's famous scent, drifting around my sewing room.
I planted only a few plants, so these blooms a very precious, not like
last year when I had it in abundance.

I head away tomorrow for my three weeks out of town.
I will be spending a week or so in Wellington with my Dad, as he has his
surgery on Thursday, the a week or so in Nelson with him when he gets home.

I have packed all the important things, like stitching.
I had a good dig around and found two projects to finish and a couple of new ones as
well.

Happy Sunday
Take Care
