A Few Days Away

My hubby and I are having a few days away together.

We have been over to Queenstown and down to stay with friends at Pisa Moorings.

Then we drove over to Twizel and had a night with Shiree.

She is about to open a cute wee quilt store in Twizel.

 She has had a unit on her property converted and it is going to be just perfect.

I think it's such a good idea, especially in these trying economic times, no rent no extra electricity etc etc.

It will be called The Rowan Tree, so you must google her and keep an eye on her blog as well.

This is one of her quilts, I'm sure she won't mind that I have put it up here.

The weather for our travels has been just perfect and today we drove to Tekapo and back to Mount Cook, picked up some salmon from the farm on the way.

Heading home tomorrow, may have to stop for a spot of shopping at Riverstone.
