Had a lovely day today.

Got together with the girls from our stitching group for our New Year lunch.

It was lovely to catch up with what everyone has been doing over the summer break.

I didn't have dessert, but Robyn had this cute little lemon meringue pie.
She wouldn't let me take her picture though.

Margaret was more obliging, we meet at her house every second Monday night for stitching, chatting and supper, she is the most amazing baker.

And this is Shiree from The Rowan Tree.
She came down from Twizel, but will be back at her shop on Tuesday, after we have had our meeting tomorrow night.

This is Nicey Jane oil cloth by Heather Bailey.
I bought this fabric in America last May and thought I should make it up into something.
Very handy tote for taking to stitching maybe?
